My Calling is Calling

My Calling is calling..

"If one life is affected, it's monumental with unusual perspective.."
I received the last bit of Haiti info in the mail yesterday. Our flights are set and our list of what to bring is extensive! We are making the final preparations for this life changing even that is about to happen for my baby sister and I.
If you have donated financially to our trip, THANK YOU! We obvioiusly would not be going if it was not for the financial support of people willing to sacrifice and invest in such a ministry. We still have a few hundred dollars left to raise but so far, I'm not stressing about it. Until two weeks ago I didn't think we would be going but just as always, God provides a way. I am sure he won't quit providing now! We are blessed by your support and are eager to carry on the blessing to the children and staff at The Mission of Hope as well as those in the villages!
Whether you have or have not been able to support us financially but would like to help still, below is a list of what the Mission needs. They run off of donations and support from various missions groups and organizations around the globe. So we need to take some items down there to help them continue to care for the orphans, villagers and needy that come their way. Their hospital is a new addition to the campus so have a great need for items such as:
antibiotic cream
eye drops
cough medicine
children's vitamins
cotton balls
antibacterial soap bars
infant formula (all kinds)
baby wipes
paper perforator
ink cartridges (Lexmark 28, HP 21,22,27,28)
staple removers
boxes of paper fasteners
toothbrushes and toothpaste
bath soap
all sizes of children's underwear and socks
liquid paper corrector
stapler and staples

Pray for us as we continue to prepare! We are excited and nervous all at the same time. Expecting the unexpected. I immagine my heart will be broken and encouraged all at the same time. How do you really prepare for such an experience?
I'll keep you posted!
